WELCOME To SLAVONIa
Where is Slavonia?
Slavonia is a historical region in eastern Croatia located in the Pannonian Basin, largely bordered by the Danube, Drava and Sava rivers.
Slavonia was named after the Slavs who settled there in the 7th century.
The region consists of the Sava valley in the south, the Drava valley in the north, the mountains surrounding the Požega Valley in the west, and Pannonian plains in the east.
Archeological evidence proves the presence of civilization in Slavonia for over 8000 years.
